Heidi Ann Hogan (Owner, Teacher, Artistic Director)

Miss Heidi is the owner and artistic director of Heidi Hogan's School of Dance in Leominster, MA. Heidi started dancing at the age of 10 at Gerry Burke's Dance Studio. She has studied under various dance professionals such as Edra Toth, Eleanor Thompson, Brenda Burratti, Blanche Waguespack, and Dan Daly. Upon graduation, she attended Mount Wachusett Community College for Early Childhood Education and Business. Heidi has been teaching since the age of 17. She has taught and choreographed for Theater at the Mount for both theatrical performances and summer programs. She taught and directed Gerry Burke's Dance Studio until 1995, when she opened her own studio in Leominster, MA. Heidi also actively choreographs for the Singers and Scholars program at the First Congregational Church in Westminster. She continues to further her dance education by taking master classes and teacher seminars. She lives in Westminster with her husband, David, and two sons, Grey and Cade.

Laura Tapply (Teacher)

Miss Laura began dancing at the age of 3 at Tami's Dance Connection in Leominster, MA. At age 12, she started taking classes at Heidi Hogan's School of Dance and stayed there studying a wide variety of dance disciplines until her senior year in 2005. She has her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Worcester State University. Miss Laura started her teaching career as a student assistant for Miss Heidi in 2002 and began teaching and choreographing her own classes during her senior year of high school in 2005. She has since extended the dance program at the studio by introducing the styles of both hip-hop and lyrical to the school. She has choreographed for various school plays, talent shows, and summer camps within the community and continues to take dance classes and teacher seminars throughout New England. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with puppy, Neely, and is busy planning for wedding next summer. Miss Laura is looking forward to celebrating her 13th year teaching at the studio!

Lindsey Tait (Teacher)


Whitney L DiGeronimo holds a BA in Dance Education, and also her MA in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling from Antioch University. She is working in dance therapy and also teaching dance classes. During her undergraduate years, Whitney was the President of Kinetic Edge Hip Hop Team and the Vice President of the BSU Dance Company. Whitney’s choreography has been selected to show in many productions, including the American College Dance Festival (2010) in Boston, MA. Whitney has studied under Jody Weber (director of the modern dance company Weberdance), Barbara Sholes (of the original Boston Ballet and the American Ballet Theater), and Kausalya Srinivasan (classical Indian dance guru), among many other master teachers. Whitney was selected by BSU to study and perform Bharatanatyam dance in Chennai, India. Whitney brings her broad knowledge of dance into all of her classes, encouraging her students to think creatively while developing their experience of dance. She has a passion for teaching and choreographing that adds life to her classes!
